We do this by challenging them both technically and tactically in an environment that is both encouraging and informative. We work hard to make sure that our camps provide an environment that is fun as well as competitive in order to prepare players for their next level.

Team development is the overall focus for this intense camp. Coaches will provide instruction on individual skill as well as team tactics during morning and afternoon sessions. Competitive matches will take place during the evening sessions.

Participants registering for the Nike residential session have the option to purchase a Nike soccer ball through US Sports Camps and will not be provided with an Ole Miss Camp ball.

Shuttle Service

Campers that need transportation to/from Memphis Airport may user our shuttle service for a flat fee of $75 round trip.

All Ole Miss Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade, level and/or gender).

Matthew Mott

Matthew Mott Head Women's Soccer Coach

2013 US South Region Coach of the Year

Matthew Mott, who finished his fifth year as head coach in 2014, was named the second women's soccer head coach in Ole Miss history on May 10, 2010. Since taking over the program five seasons ago, Mott has overseen the Rebels in a surge toward the top of the Southeastern Conference standings and delivered the best season in program history in 2013. Mott was named the NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year for his efforts in guiding Ole Miss to the record-setting season.

Becky Fletcher

Rob Thompson Associate Head Coach

Rob Thompson has served fives seasons in charge of goalkeepers and was promoted to the position of Associate Head Coach following the 2014 season. The 2013 season saw the Rebel defense help Ole Miss to a record-setting 16 wins that included 10 shutout victories behind the play of junior goalkeeper Kelly McCormick. The keeper became the winningest goalkeeper in program history, 34 victories for her career under the tutelage of Thompson.

Rob Thompson

Melissa Terry Assistant Coach

Melissa Terry is in her first season as an assistant coach at Ole Miss after joining the coaching staff in December of 2014. An All-America selection as a collegiate player, Terry comes to Ole Miss with a wealth of experience working in collegiate athletics and brings a variety of knowledge on different aspects of collegiate soccer after working with successful women's soccer programs, including a pair of College Cup appearances at Florida State and a four-year playing career at Central Oklahoma.

Summer Ragsdale

Summer Ragsdale Director of Soccer Operations

Summer Ragsdale is in her second season with the Rebel staff as the Director of Operations, after joining the Ole Miss program for the 2013 season. Ragsdale joined the Rebels in the Summer of 2013 after spending the previous year with the Bandera Independent School District where she served as an assistant coach with the varsity soccer team. As a player, Ragsdale lettered four seasons at Auburn before earning her degree in Business Administration in 2008.

FAQ

Q. What's the difference between the Nike Residential and the Elite Residential Camps?
The Nike Residential is open to boys and girls (with the groups separated by gender and age), the Elite Residential is open only for girls to participate in. Typically, the Elite Residential Camp has older players attending, but the quality of coaching and structure of both camps are identical.
Q. Can we check-in early?
The answer to this is typically no unless there are certain circumstances that will not allow you to be at registration between 2pm and 4pm.
Q. Can we check-in late?
Yes. If your plans require you to arrive late please contact us with your travel and arrival time details.
Q. Is there a shuttle from the airport?
Yes, the cost is $75 per person round trip.
Q. Will campers need any spending money?
All meals and essential items will be provided at camp. However, if you would like snacks or to buy items from the camp store then you will need extra spending money.
Q. Is there a swimming pool available?
Yes, during Full Day Camps only.
Q. Can we bring a refrigerator?
Yes.
Q. Are the dorms air-conditioned?
Yes.
Q. What should I do with the medical/insurance form? Mail it in or send it with my child?
You can mail the form in or fax it to Summer Ragsdale at (662) 915-5648.
Q. What kind of supervision do the campers get in the dorms?
Several staff members reside on each floor of the dorm should a camper need assistance. Camp administrators also reside in the dorm should a camper need emergency access to medical assistance, medical records, or a phone. Residence hall staff also work the front desk 24 hours a day.

Q. Where is registration?
Co-Ed Day campers will check-in at the Ole Miss Soccer complex, Residential and commuters will check-in at the dorm.
Q. What if I forget to pay the balance due by the designated date?
We can accept cash, money order, or check at check-in.
Q. Can campers stay 3 to a room?
Housing on campus only allows two campers per room. We can assure that friends and teammates can stay next door to one another.
Q. What should I bring to camp?
Pair of soccer shoes, Pair of flat shoes, Shin guards, Bed linens, Towels, Pillow, Alarm clock, Personal items / toiletries, Sunscreen, Goalkeeper gloves (for goalkeepers only), A great attitude!
