Camp Frequently Asked Questions:
Can we check-in early?
The answer to this is typically no unless there are certain circumstances that will not allow you to be at registration between 1pm and 3pm. Please call or e-mail if you have a conflict with the set registration time.
Can we check-in late?
Yes. If your plans require you to arrive late please contact us with your travel and arrival time details.
Is there a shuttle from the airport?
We can pick campers up and drop them off. Please be advised they must arrive on Saturday and pay the dorm cost for the extra night. Supervision and security in the dorm will be provided on Saturday night.
Will campers need any spending money?
All meals and essential items will be provided at camp. However, if you would like snacks or to buy items from the camp store then you will need extra spending money.
Is there a swimming pool available?
No. Currently we do not take the campers swimming due to time constraints between sessions.
Can we bring a refrigerator?
Yes.
Are the dorms air-conditioned?
Yes.
What
should I do with the medical/insurance form? Mail it in or send it
with my daughter?
You can do either. We prefer you mail it and
we will file it for your daughter's week of camp. If you forget, you
can have your daughter bring it with her to registration.
What
kind of supervision do the campers get in the dorms?
Several
staff members reside on each floor of the dorm should a camper need
assistance. Camp administrators also reside in the dorm should a
camper need emergency access to medical assistance, medical records,
or a phone.
Where can I find directions?
There will be a link posted on the camp website ( www.olemisssoccercamp.com ) closer to the camp dates.
Where is registration?
That will be posted closer to the dates for each camp.
What if I forget to pay the balance due by the designated date?
We can still accept the final payment, but there will be $10 penalty.
Can campers stay 3 to a room?
Housing on campus only allows two campers per room. We can assure that friends and teammates can stay next door to one another.
What should I bring to camp?
Pair of soccer shoes
Pair of flat shoes
Shin guards
Bed linens
Towels
Pillow
Alarm clock
Personal items / toiletries
Sunscreen
Goalkeeper gloves (for goalkeepers only)
